We had a busy day of work this Saturday, but it seems at every turn the kids were coming up with some sort of goof-off and game. Friday night, the big thunderstorm brought in winds, so we tried wind-kiting. No lift-off, though...
Another favorite was teeter-totter. An old board, a piece of log...
... alot of practicing with the yo-yo... but hard to do while stacking wood.
One of the usual favorites for game-play is "catch the chicken!" Good thing they don't run far when they get out.
Here is a solo version of the teeter-totter... though not as fun, apparently.
... and if you are only 5 and 2 years old, all you need is an old bucket! This one kept them entertained for almost 10 minutes, with lots of giggles.
Big sister had to try it out, it appeared to be so much fun! She'll be upset when she hears this one made it onto the internet...
