Boat Repairs - Fixing a Floorboard

With Fall Chinook fishing winding down, we have more repairs to perform on the boat. One of the floorboards has rotted - you can see how busted and dissintigrated it is after all the fish fighting, sliming, and deck washing we did this fall.

Here we've peeled the vinyl off the plywood - we'll use the old vinyl just until we find matching new stuff to replace it.

The repair is pretty straightforward - cutting a matching piece of plywood, drying the old vinyl, then reglueing it to the new wood.

Not too bad. Besides, any work we do on the boat is fun- just because it is the boat!
