Blackberries are a sweet part of summer. Everywhere in the Pacific NorthWest has pockets of the sweetest and best-growing berries. Our neighborhood has several good patches of the black stuff.In the evenings we walk down and enjoy. The kids have figured out ways to get at them without getting stuck.
And at the end of August, they are ripe by the handful...
Even with so many berries available, they never seem to last long!
