Camas Flowers Aren't Early Bloomers

Well, it appears that the early-blooming Camas flowers couldn't wait until spring. These are the 2 bulbs that sprouted in the refrigerator (in December), and grew indoors.

2 weeks ago they started to dry out on the tips of the leaves. Even with heavy watering. We put them outside, and nothing seemed to help.

These bulbs were planted outdoors in December, and started growing early in February.

We put them outside for water, and they have grown well, but we expect they will also die before blooming.

No bulbs have sprouted in the wild yet.

Data collection will continue...
