Northwest Noodling

Maybe it was the summer doldrums... or maybe it was too many episodes of "Swamp People".

The boys were bored, but soon found a solution on what to do that afternoon.

Trough Noodling!

We had released a few "feeder" goldfish in the troughs to keep mosquitoes in check.

The boys discovered the fun of "feeling around" and catching the fish by hand.

The murky water made it more challenging.

Success! Look at the size of that lunker!

Of course they practiced catch-n-release.

Most of the hot day was consumed, and then it was time for some downhill racing.

Bored boys can always find something to occupy themselves, especially when Dad starts looking for work to keep them busy.
