The meat chickens are doing well - really growing visibly fast!The older male chicks we first got are now more than 2 weeks old, and are very active and easily excitable. They have started growing small combs on their heads, and their wing feathers are growing out and quite developed.
At the 2 week mark, we weighed a male chick and a female chick that is only 1 week old. The male was 8.1 oz, and the female was only 4.0 oz - pretty good growth for just 1 week!
